Plant Walk: Exploring Desert Wetlands

  • Tolleson Wetlands Preserve (Info TBA) (map)

This is a wonderful plant walk for anyone who wants to explore vibrant wetlands and the medicinal plants that grow where water and desert meet. This is a truly unique environment full of plants we don't often see in Arizona - and it's just over in Tolleson. We'll talk medicinal plants, invasive and native species, and habitat restoration.

Participants must be able to walk 2 miles on pavement. This is an easy walk suitable for those who use assistive devices such as electric scooters.
